Complete at last!

I have finally finished the throw I began in the spring. I have had the piece of tweed for over 20" years stored in my loft and decided I will never make a skirt with it therefore added felt shapes and roving embellished and then embroidered with Perle threads. The flower shapes were inspired from Iranian Textiles from the V & A.  This is a gift for someone I know who has a birthday soon.

My conservatory looks ready for a celebration as I'm making bunting for a September wedding.

CHRISTMAS TREES IN APRIL!!!!!

Completed tree for my kitchen today whilst at Decora meeting.  This is my summer tree, intend making an Autumn and Christmas one too, watch this space!!
